Bannings: | Banned!?! Hey... |
|
I wasn't much "into" heavy metal back in high school (more of a punk guy at that time), but for some reason I always liked The Scorpions.
What ever happened to them? I bought their accoustic album a few years ago (good stuff!), and I see that they released a new album last year. (Unbreakable. Any good?)

They were touring with Tesla last fall, Unbreakable was pretty good also.

Catch your train, from the album In Trance, is a classic.
"For your love, for your love...I'll catch your train".
Another favourite of mine is Yellow Raven (!). The lyrics of Backstage Queen have to be heard to be disbelieved. They're awesome.
Yes, I love bands who haven't quite mastered the English language. That's probably why I'm such a fan of stan's work.

In Trance is the song I enjoy the most from them. Decent band. Nothing spectacular.

Hey little donna, sweet little donna so good My feeling with you was all very true. Hey little donna, sweet little donna you know Goodbye is hello, cos Im on the road.

Hey little donna Sweet little donna Goodbye donna ...Must be the singer and not the song. The lyrics seem pretty forgettable to me.

Quite so. Klaus sings the lyrics with a passion, and a kind of manic conviction, that mere words cannot describe.
It sounds a bit scary, actually.

I may have to check it out just to hear what he can do with it. Seems a fairly unexciting song.

I've probably talked it up too much.
Try Catch your train for some real hilarity, Trevor.
