Exclusive to the Brilliant Adventure box set are BBC Radio Theatre: London, June 27, 2000 and Re:Call 5. The former was recorded two days after the famous Glastonbury performance in front of 500 lucky fans at the BBC’s art deco theatre in central London. Re:Call 5 features 39 non-album / alternative version / B-sides and soundtrack songs over 3CDs. Both BBC Radio Theatre: London, June 2000 and Re:Call 5 are exclusive to the box set. The CD box set will include faithfully reproduced mini-vinyl versions of the original albums where applicable, and the CDs will be gold coloured rather than the usual silver.

The physical box set’s accompanying book of 84 pages features rarely seen and previously unpublished photos by photographers including Frank W. Ockenfels 3, Nick Knight, John Scarisbrick and Nina Schultz Terner and others, as well as memorabilia, technical notes about the albums from producers/engineers Brian Eno, Nile Rodgers, Reeves Gabrels and Mark Plati as well as a new an interview with ‘The Buddha of Suburbia’ collaborator Erdal Kizilçay.

I’d imagine this is where we would get the infamous Toy album.

So I guess they were never able to negotiate the rights for the Tin Machine stuff, eh? Oh well, I'm sure that will be a box set in and of it's own at some point. I wonder if that will be a part of the Bowie estate's deal with Warner.

For Tin Machine I would’ve offered $5 and an expired Arby’s coupon.

This is currently down to 123.14 as of this morning (and it is also part of the 3 for 2). This was not earlier this week when I grabbed Let It Be 50th, Plastic Ono Band's 'deluxe' and Rory Gallagher's debut. I ended up just getting the Bowie as there were not enough bigger box's to make it worth while for me.

Did anybody order and/or receive this from Amazon?

I pre-ordered at the last minute, so I wasn't expecting it right away, but I just looked up the order to discover that it left an Amazon facility in Tampa on Friday, and that the last tracking update was Saturday. The order is now headlined, "Your package may be lost...We're very sorry your delivery is so late. Although it may still arrive, you can request a refund now."

This is a new one on me. Is this Amazon's passive-aggressive way to tell me that I'm better off cancelling and reordering?

I've had this happen to me through Amazon Canada. I bet it will arrive over the next few days.

I accidentally bought it twice (too many Black Friday deals I guess). Hopefully, I'll be able to ship it back somewhere...

I ordered Saturday and received Sunday.

I had pre-ordered from Amazon US, and while they initially said I wouldn't get my CD box until 12/1, it arrived on Sunday instead (11/28).

Oddly, the set still isn't streaming on YouTube Music - very unusual! But I can upload my own rips now for portability.

I received mine today, pre-ordered weeks ago.
