Watching the documentary on AppleTV+ today and its pretty good, goes into the very beginning with Lou ending up in Syracuse University at one point in early bands and then getting into the "scene" down in the Village with John Cale etc. One thing we know, this world will never be duplicated. NYC in the late 60s and early 70s had cheap rent or no rent (just flopping anywhere) and musicians/poets/ and artists could hang together creating art.
