From Blabbermouth.net, most excellent news-what a year for Sabbath fans this has been!!!

According to a posting on Ronnie James Dio's web site, Rhino has officially set August 28 as the release date for the HEAVEN AND HELL "Live from Radio City Music Hall" DVD and two-CD set. As the title implies, both the DVD and CD packages will include HEAVEN AND HELL's (the band featuring BLACK SABBATH guitarist Tony Iommi and bassist Geezer Butler, singer Ronnie James Dio, and drummer Vinny Appice) performance on March 30, 2007 at the Radio City Music Hall in New York City. The group's setlist was as follows:

01. [E5150 Intro]
02. After All (The Dead)
03. The Mob Rules
04. Children of the Sea
05. Lady Evil
06. I
07. The Sign of the Southern Cross
08. Voodoo
09. The Devil Cried
10. Appice Solo
11. Computer God
12. Falling Off the Edge of the World
13. Shadow of the Wind
14. Iommi Solo/Die Young
15. Heaven and Hell
Envore:
16. Lonely is the Word
17. Neon Knights

Check out pictures from the concert at Wire Image.

Launch Radio Networks reported in early April that the band's performance at the HEAVEN AND HELL DVD shoot was great, with some long-time fans calling it the group's best show ever, but things didn't go as smoothly behind the scenes as they could have. Lead singer Ronnie James Dio told Launch that New York City union issues reared up hours before the concert even began. "We didn't have enough time for a soundcheck because the union went, 'OK, time for a break,'" he said. "'But we've only done half a song.' 'Time for a break.' 'But we've got 15 minutes left.' 'We said, time for a break.' You know that way that goes. So, all in all, it was more difficult than it should have been — but it is a city show, and that's what you've gotta put up with."

There were plans to lengthen the setlist for Radio City, but having soundcheck cut meant the band couldn't properly rehearse. They were planning to add the new track "Ear in the Wall" that's on the new album "Black Sabbath: The Dio Years", which came out on April 3.

Several full-length video clips of HEAVEN AND HELL performing on March 13 at Rexall Place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada have been posted online at YouTube.com. Check them out at this location.

I was talking to someone at work today about how they'd filmed the Radio City show for a live DVD. Great news! Can't wait!

Boy, that was quick! This should be a stunning DVD as it was filmed with Hi-Def cameras.

I'm looking forward to this one too. Should be great fun.

However, will they be issuing this DVD under the "Black Sabbath" name or under "Heaven And Hell."

The recent Rhino Dio Years and Live At Hammersmith Odeon CDs were issued under the Sabbath name because they were collections of material recorded while Dio was an official member of Sabbath.

But where they're differentiating this band as "Heaven And Hell" so as not to pose a conflict with Ozzy and Sabbath--

Oh, I know! I should just ease up, right??

In any event, it'll be a great DVD to watch.

Based on the little ad that came with my copy of "LIVE AT HAMMERSMITH', the upcoming CD & DVD will be credited to Heaven And Hell.
