It's very funny but pretty bawdy for a cartoon. And it bothers me that the voice of Cyril is also the narrator for Word*Girl.

Is that the same studio that brought us Frisky Dingo in Adult Swim, the animation looks exactly like it.

Belatedly, I am now addicted to Archer. I watched the first nine episodes of Season 1 this weekend. James Bond filtered through Arrested Development — gloriously debauched.

Yeah — if it weren't so perfectly written, it wouldn't be my type of thing, but excellence trumps all.

It's so funny, and the voice actors are great (particularly long-time favorite on Archer). But I do have trouble laughing over the the over-the-top nihilism and just crudity.

Great Show. Watch it. I wouldn't mind owning it for a good price.

I do love the Archer series, though I felt the last season was weaker than previous ones. The whole detective agency thing just doesn't ring true since they aren't really set up for that - they're more body guards or hired muscle. And Malory's character doesn't seem to contribute anything but arrogance - I mean, she used to have contacts and call the shots in the spy world, or was the principle investor, but she doesn't really seem to be doing that, as far as I can recall, like she brings nothing of value to the table but still thinks she's in charge. Maybe I'm wrong, but all she seems to do these days is drink and little else, while before she got jobs, made assignments, and then drank. Besides, Archer is dead. Face down in a pool for hours, and the "Archer" android (or whatever) wasn't that - so unless it's another copy - he's dead - dun dun DUN! Cliff hanger.
