Description
From 1975 and '76, two albums (released on A&M) that kick-started Frampton's huge US popularity. 'Frampton' features the hits 'Baby I Love Your Way' and 'Show Me The Way', both US Top 20 hits. In the UK, 'Show Me The Way' made the Top 10 Singles chart. Both albums made the US Top 200. Frampton has had a long, distinguished and successful career; he is still recording, and had a planned 2020 tour cancelled due to Covid. Digitally remastered and slipcased, and with new notes.

The few BGO releases I own are good. They never disappoint. I recently ordered the other Frampton BGO 2-fer and was extremely pleased as to how good it sounded.

Another week to wait -- the Somethin's Happening/Frampton set has now been pushed to July 2nd.

Get this along with the new one, and you'll have nicely remastered versions of all four of Peter Frampton's pre-Comes Alive solo studio albums.

@ the push back (again). BGO shouldn't even issue a release date until they release it. 8-)

Yeah, those first two sound dang good. I have his Gold best-of and many of those songs are on their but the mastering is.... meh.

I think the one song he did that sounds better in the studio than on FCA is Lines on My Face. I think, for me, its the soaring guitar during the chorus' of that song. It works better than the live version. Otherwise, FCA is the ultimate best of. Not a crap song on there.

Just got an e-mail stating the new delivery date as July 13. :facepalm:

The Amazon page still shows a July 9th release date.

That's been pretty much my norm since the pandemic started, maybe a bit before. My delivery date always seems to be the Tuesday after. On the plus side, probably about half the time, the delivery is actually that Saturday, so only a one-day delay.
