The CD version of this box set, listed above, has been scheduled for release on April 23rd. We're awaiting the finalised tracklist and packaging details (which will differ from the earlier-released vinyl).

According to the Amazon information, it will include Entertainment, Solid Gold, a singles collection, and a previously bootleg live album, Live at American Indian Center 1980. And then the LP version has an exclusive collection of previously unreleased outtakes, demos, and rarities. On CASSETTE!

I think these companies are over-thinking what the consumer wants.

I've added pre-order links for the vinyl version of the box set that Jason posted -- the vinyl is due out on March 12th. But it's the CD version in the first post that we're waiting for.

Definitely interested in the CD version, I was just surprised the vinyl comes with the extra material on cassette and had to share/vent.

Yes. I'm concerned that the CD box might not include those tracks at all. We'll see.

The description on Amazon is phrased in a way that is not leaving me optimistic.
