According to Lucinda's website, all six of these are coming out on CD and LP!
They're all available for pre-order right now, and as soon as an order is placed you can download an AAC Audio 256kbps digital copy to hold you over until the real thing arrives. If you're so inclined, you can just purchase the digital-only version.
I bought the Stones "It's Only Rock and Roll" tribute and as Renny put it, it's just wonderful.

Is that available on CD? I bought the series of Live CDs from her web site years ago, they were CDR releases.

yep, lucinda williams is a treasure.
What I really like about the Lu's Jukebox titles that I have are the song selections and the way she presents them.
She definitely makes them her own. I especially like the ballads and the mid-tempo numbers. She has the perfect voice for them that has that swampy groove to it. Great stuff!!

i don't know who her guitar player is now, or even if the same guitarist is on all these albums, but i will tell you all this, she has always had just fantastic guitarists with her, and everytime i hear another one he is as good as , if not better than, the last one.

If you can bear to wait a little, all of Lucinda's tribute CDs are going into general release as the year rolls on, and they'll all be cheaper to buy from Amazon.
