Man, this guy got himself into shape for the role of Tony Stark! If he puts this much effort into the character, I'll take back half the things I've said about him...

I predict this movie is either going to kick major balls or be like the Hulk. Lately, I'm feeling the former.

So you're basically predicting that it will either be good or bad.

My latest prediction is that it will be good. Of course, I'm not sure who the villain will be or what the story is about. The Hulk sure looked good until the villain and story got involved.

Jeff Bridges has been cast as Obidiah Stane, presumably as the main villain. There's still talk that the Mandarin will be involved, too, but nothing definitive, and if he is in the film, he hasn't been cast yet, which is unusual. I'm thinking it'll be Stane for this movie and the Mandarin for the sequel. Iron Man doesn't have a ton of great villains, so it makes sense to spread them out a bit.

I'd say Iron Man has a decent amount of villains, but it does make sense to spread them out.

Obadiah Stane
Mandarin
Justin Hammer- I'd love to see a movie that adapts the Power of Iron Man.

Doctor Doom- If they can get the rights for the character, it could really work given the great comic book battles the two have had.

And there are the recent villains...
Extremis- Warren Ellis's best corporate superhero work.
The Iron Man Suit- Possible adaptation of Joe Quesada's "Man in the Iron Mask" Tony Stark VS Iron Man makes for a cool title.

I like a lot of Iron Man's villains, but they'd need some serious tweaking to work in a film. Ghost, Spymaster, Mandarin, Crimson Dynamo, Hawkeye and Black Widow, Living Laser, are all excellent villains.

Fin Fang Foom is cool, but only when threatening to put you in his purple pants.

I'd say Fin Fang Foom is more threatening without his purple gonch. Being attacked by a giant serpent: scary. Being attacked by a giant serpent with his giant serpent hanging out: terrifying beyond belief.
