https://variety.com/2021/tv/news/mira-f ... 1234890117She was one of the main reasons I loved Bab 5. Her alien aplomb, adapting to a new form and mastering it and love, her strong resolve in heartbreak and triumph. A lesser actress couldn't have been so competent or compelling or as ethereally eerily beautiful while wearing latex. RIP, Mira. And thank you.

Never watched the show, but she seems like she was a nice person.

That is sad. Many of the main cast from that show have fallen. Very, very sad.
Mira Furlan (1955–2021) 65 Richard Biggs ((1960–2004) 44 Stephen Furst (1954–2017) 63 Andreas Katsulas (1946–2006) 59 Jerry Doyle ((1956–2016) 60 Jeff Conaway (1950–2011) 60 Michael O'Hare (1952–2012) 60
R.I.P. Mira, and to all your fallen cast mates on Babylon 5 as well.

R.I.P. Mira, and to all your fallen cast mates on Babylon 5 as well. Wow. That brings me up short. I knew about all of them, but seeing them as a list like that, all under 65, is indeed very sad.

Those are all quite young. What were they eating on that space station?

She was a great actress on the show, and I was only slightly surprised that she didn't start popping up in the other Sci Fi type properties the way a lot of them do.
A real shame to see what's happened to that cast, and I wonder if the tragedies are going to impact the staying power of the show in terms of fandom. Without Con participation, it can be difficult to keep up the buzz, and there are few of the main actors left.
(Yes, I thought it was better than DS9, and if you attach Waiting in Light to the end of season 4, better than BSG)

Jason, I also enjoyed B5 more than DS9 or Voyager.

Missing from the list is Tim Choate (1954 – 2004) 49 who played Zathras. He died from a motorcycle crash. Again, far too young.
