i did a search, and this jackson browne album seemed to slip through the cracks here at ICE.

released in 2017, only in japan, i gotta say that it is quite possible the finest live recording that i have ever heard. it is a "blu-spec CD2'.

i stumbled across it accidently while perusing amazon and ordered it immediately and got it today.

if you are a jackson browne fan i highly highly recommend it .

yes, a bit pricey, but wow, the sound just knocks you out.

and i still, after all these years, do not know how to put a fucking picture into a post......... :sigh:

Really bites that Amazon has stopped track listings. Discogs is a good alternative. They list almost every variation of almost every rock album ever released.

geff

thanks!

renny

the reviews john posted are right on.

it might not be the perfect track listing of jackson browne songs (as it does go a bit deep) but the sound, the sound is really stuns, it hits you right out of the gate with browne's 'hello".

I remember the Solo Acoustic albums he released some years back and thought that their sound quality was excellent. It felt like he was in my living room playing songs.

This is very interesting track list. I love Jackson Browne and have seen him twice years ago. If I have the cash, I'll get this.

I also ordered it and received it yesterday. Have played it twice. Superb sound. Track list a little lacking in well-known JB songs but what's here is wonderfully played by a great band. This is a little over one hour so it can't be the entire show. I'd really like to hear the whole show and see which songs rounded out the set list.

jim,

i wholeheartedly agree. the whole show would have been wonderful.

the 'blu-spec 2CD" sound thing is quite remarkable. i would love to hear other CD's in this format.

renny

p.s. i like that the songs are not the big hits, makes for an interesting listen for sure. i saw browne in atlantic city do a similar kind of show. lots of very deep cuts, very few hits and after a few songs the crowd stopped yelling 'doctor my eyes' and really got into the show, one of the best concerts i ever saw actually......and he never did play 'doctor my eyes'.
