Ugh.

This one really makes me sad.

Terribly sad. Thank you, Mr. Trebek, for always being a gentleman and for the many years of facts, trivia, and smart and fun entertainment..

He was on TV for a long time, long before he became so well known on Jeopardy. I remember watching him on game shows when I was a kid. He was very brave throughout his terrible ordeal of the last few years.

Question: What is the day we lost one of the best?

Boy, another 2020 gut punch. Thanks for the many wonderful memories and for sharing your talents with us as long as you could, Mr. Trebek. Jeopardy! will never be the same without your intelligence, command, sly sense of humour (Canadian spelling intentional) and grace.

He was truly unique- an intelligent, modest and graceful man.
Rest In Peace

i'm guessing he told st. peter to be sure his invite into heaven was in the form of a question.

RIP

Like I’ve said before, Jimmy had one rule.

NO PHONE CALLS DURING JEOPARDY!

As you might expect, Jimmy was a superstar “Jeopardy” player.

We’re all saddened by this news down here, but I bet Jimmy is psyched to welcome him up to heaven for some polite, intelligent conversation.

(My mom, Ethel will definitely join in as she loved the show from the 60’s on.)

I remember the show from the '60s and '70s with Art Fleming as the host and Don Pardo as the announcer.

I remember that, Larry. Jeopardy has always been my favorite game show.
Fleming was good, but Alex took it to another level.

Never miss Jeopardy especially now that I am retired, set my DVR for every night (so I can FF through commercials). Alex of course was a consummate pro and the perfect game show host.

RIP.

RIP. I haven’t watched Jeopardy regularly in a while, but I loved the show, and I loved Trebek’s hosting. Such a class act in everything he did.

Jeopardy was a staple for my grandma every night of the week. I grew up watching Alex every night at 7:30 PM with her. RIP. Pancreatic cancer is the bitch of the cancer bitches. He hung on for quite some time after diagnosis.

He also did an excellent job narrating the Hearst Castle bus ride and audio tour.
