amazon music unlimited is available until tomorrow for 25 cents a month for 4 months.....$7.99 a month after that for prime members 9.99 non-prime.

i am thinking about the 4 month deal just to see how it is.

I've had the HD version of their streaming service for a while, and have been extremely pleased with it. (Click on the white menubar where it says "HD" to go the Amazon Music HD trial signup page ... the above link works for both the SD and HD versions of Amazon Music.)

The service is easy to hook up in multiple rooms. Good interface (much better than competitors) and controls. Sounds great ... the SD stuff is identical to CD quality and the HD stuff sounds like Blu-ray Audio, although there still isn't enough of the latter. Generally decodes well into Dolby surround (if you like that). I can't speak to the value of "carefully curated playlists" because I don't use them.

It's not a substitute for the full interactive listening experience (sitting down with physical media). I do love having my choice of music (not a DJ's) on demand in proper quality.

A fan. Was enticed on a similar offer a few Prime Days ago - maybe 18 months ago. Have not turned back. I stayed with SD just based on my use.

Unfortunately only for 'new' customers, and apparently one of the previous free trials or something makes me a returning customer.

Oh well...

I have it, but find it frustrating compared to other services. The interface confuses me. I can't start a radio station from a group or song (or at least I don't see a way to do it), or from a playlist. These features are the best for me, and how I discover new music. Recommendations (from any service, not just Amazon) are usually garbage as they don't understand my tastes at all, even after all the things I listen to that should give them an idea. I need it to just "come up" on a related radio station I create from a song/artist.
