I have never clicked on any name so fast. Neal Adams all the way. JRjr isn't in the same league. Comics are divided into two groups. Before Neal Adams and after. I doubt anyone has so thoroughly changed comics art, short of Kirby.

I'm generally not that drawn to photorealism in comics. Maybe I'm just odd that way. Of course, I don't dispute that Adams has been far more influential.

I gotta go with Junior. I can see what Neal Adams did to (for?) comics, but I'd rather see John than Neal take over my favorite title, whatever that may be.

Neal! In his prime, anyway. His recent stuff isn't so hot, but I still love the classic stuff. JR Jr is nice, but doesn't grab me as much as he does others here.

Can someone who has read the Ali/Superman book tell me how it is that Ali is kicking Supes' ass?
Also, I voted for JRJ. Style AND substance. (not that Neal doesn't have those qualities)

Geez, this one is closer than I would have thought. Can I vote again?

Both are great, but I'll take Neal Adams please. His short runs on Avengers and X-men are some of my all time favorites, and his Batman is pretty good too.

I was going to tell you, but since you didn't vote for Neal...
OK, Superman is powerless in that part of the story.

I don't have time to post the hundreds of iconic covers that Neal Adams has done, nor the merchandising art that was what the world saw as the definitive Superman, Batman, etc.
There are few times that the word "masterpiece" can be used towards comics, but of those few, a good share are works by Adams.
For his Batman and Green Lantern/Green Arrow series alone, he should've automatically advanced to the next round.

Neal Adams really doesn't do much for me, but I understand his impact on the genre.
