Whats everyone watching on the Tube these days?
As for me:
24: some fun moments but this season pales in comparison to season 5. Too kill crazy(poor Curtis) and lots of logic out the window (Russia goes to war over a stolen chip?)..but still entertaining.
LOST: excellent since the return from the break..lots of revelations and great character moments..glad to hear we have an endpoint too..things have really picked up this year.
The Unit: what a great season..hope it gets renewed for S3..especially after the great ending to S2.
Rome: working my way through season 2..what an amazing series..Pullo and Vorenus are amazing..great battle scenes too..brilliant stuff..must buy on DVD.
The Shield: another brilliant season..Vic is an animal..Shane is an idiot..shades of grey everywhere..amazing stuff.
Sopranos: brilliant character work...compelling stuff..im eager to see how it all ends...
Everyone else?

I'm watching 24...but still on season 4, slowly catching up.
Lost is must-see weekly.
I love House MD, that character is so how I would be if I were a Dr...and how I am as a tech.
I watch some BBC shows too, like Hustle, Life on Mars (just ended), and Spooks, when they are "in season".
Enjoyed Rome, although we've yet to watch the second series. I have it in the pile though.
I also watch tons of nature shows, can't get enough of them. Natural World, Planet Earth, etc, etc.

Heroes. Lost. Jericho. Battlestar Galactica. Sopranos. And that's about it. I used to watch a lot more television. Times change.

I will watch any old tat. Except fashion programmes where women tell other women that they look like shit. The line is drawn there.
As to what I'm really enjoying at the minute, the only two programmes that spring to mind are:
the British version of 'The Apprentice'. It manages to be a searing insight into the still visibly present social and geographical divides that exist in our country, the exposition of a certain kind of manic, modern stupidity that masquerades under the name of 'professionalism' and, most importantly, Alan Sugar. Sugar is the rich bastard of our version, and he is just about the most hugely entertaining person on television. He is the archetypal self-made Cockney geezer and I sort of want to hate him (I used to, for football reasons) but actually really like the way he just cuts through all the idiotic bullshit of the contestants and tells them what it's all about. He always looks to be in genuine physical discomfort when he is talking to these arseholes on the make and gives incisive and insightful critiques when he sacks each shitty candidate. It is also just a very well-crafted TV show. It is probably the most talked-about programme over here at the moment.
The other one is (and I'll get the piss ripped out of me for this) 'Great British Menu', in which chefs from different areas in Britain face off against each other to cook top quality, Michelin-starred restaurant food, which they source themselves during the programme. I don't know why I like it. It's just quite relaxing to watch after I get home from Swimming or the gym, before I have my tea (dinner to you lot).
Really looking forward to the return of The Sopranos here, my favourite TV show ever.

Oh for gods sake, I totally forgot about Heroes! Yes, that too is must-see, although I usually watch it commercial free later rather than when it airs.

Heroes (near perfection)
24 (my suspension of disbelief is slowly reinstating itself unfortunately... too many jump the shark moments this season)
The Office (hee hee... and Jenna Fischer...)
The Sopranos (great writing... great characters... I think the ending may be a bit of a let down, but who knows... I'm looking forward to it!)
Nip/Tuck (human depravity at its finest. This show is oddly well done, but at times I feel my fascination with it is like peering at an auto accident.)

24 - I don't know if it's simply because last season was simply THE BEST SEASON THEY'VE EVER HAD - but this season's just not "grabbing my sack" as Gohnny Gardner would say.
Heroes - Easily the best new show on television this year! Every episode just seems better than the one before it!
House, M.D. - Hugh Laurie is the best actor on TV right now. Week in, week out, he's a joy to watch.
American Idol - I'm auditioning for this next year.
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit - The best of the L&O franchises, and still as strong as (or stronger than) it's ever been, although I wish they'd give Richard Belzer more to do. Oh, and Mariska Hargitay is teh hotness!
The Shield - Consistantly great! Michael Chiklis is brilliant (as is the rest of the cast) and Walt Goggins (he plays Shane) is second only to Hugh Laurie in the acting department.
Lost - Everytime I think they're drifting off course, they pull an episode out that brings everything back on track. Never fails to entertain or perplex. I'm in it for the long haul with these guys.
Survivor: Fiji - Watching the finale as I type this. Every season I find myself just fascinated at the interactions of the people and the ingeniuty of the challenges.
My Name Is Earl - Silly, goofy, funny as hell, and a cast of supporting players that's growing to rival The Simpsons. Also, Jamie Pressley is the funniest woman on television (and she's hot, too!).
The Office - Flat-out, the funniest show on television. I was skeptical that the American version would be able to replicate the British version, but damned if they haven't gone and caught lightning in a bottle twice!
Scrubs - Still funny, but showing a little wear around the edges.
Law & Order - Still entertaining, but at this point I watch it more out of habit than anything else. Doesn't really grab me the way it used to. After 15 years, I'm constantly amazed that the formula still works.
Saturday Night Live - They've really missed Tina Fey this year, but while this season hasn't been great, it hasn't been anywhere near as bad as the show HAS been in the past. I've watched SNL since the very first episode, certainly not gonna bail now.
The Sopranos - One of the most fascinating and frustrating shows I've ever watched. When it's been good, it's been very VERY good, but when it's been bad....
Anyways, I'm anxious/curious to see how it's all gonna end.
Goddamn, I watch WAY too much TV!

Monday: How I Met Your Mother, New Adventures Of Old Christine, Heroes, The Class
Wednesday: Project Runway and Top Design
Thursday: Office, 30 Rock, Greys Anatomy
I try not to watch too much television anymore. The above may seem like a lot but it's nothing compared to my old viewing habits. also, three of the above shows listed aren't even on the schedule at this time.

I don't watch much these days.
LOST. I'll stick with it, no matter how much I bitch.
THE SOPRANOS. Three more weeks and that'll be that.
THE OFFICE. Thank you, Lorie Hall! Funny as all hell.
CSI, even though they seem to be running out of ideas.
That about does it.

Mythbusters!
Heroes - Haven't actually seen a single episode yet, but I've "acquired" most of them.
Lost - The latest episode I saw was probably the one where Echo meets a black cloud. I probably should continue on, one of these days...
Prison Break - I'm halfway through the second season.
How I Met Your Mother - But it airs a really crappy time here (around 10 on Saturday or Sunday morning), so I tend to miss it often

DIRTY JOBS -- Entertaining look at really nasty jobs that you know you wouldn't do, and Mike Rowe is just about the best host on television.
DEADLIEST CATCH -- Discovery channel show about the people who go into the Bering Strait and catch Alaskan King crab and Opelio crab. Considered the most dangerous job in the world, this makes for fascinating viewing, and is real "reality" television.
MY NAME IS EARL -- Frank is right....Jaime Pressley is great. And Ethan Suplee is a riot as Earl's brother Randy.
24 -- An off season for me but still "must see" stuff.
ENTOURAGE -- Jeremy Piven is brilliant.
SCRUBS -- Talk is that this show will soon come to an end....shame. One of the best ensemble casts on TV. I love Ted, the hospital lawyer.
THE SHIELD -- Perfect TV. Chiklis is amazing, and Walton Goggins should win an emmy as Shane.
NO RESERVATIONS -- Chef / author Anthony Bourdain travels the world eating stuff that would make a billygoat gag. Bourdain is a fascinating personality who I would love to sit down and have a few drinks with. Of course I've sat and drank with Saxon, so that shows you what I'm willing to put up with in order to drink.
GOOD EATS -- Come on....who doesn't want to know how the molecules on a bowl of dough come together to make fluffy biscuits. Plus, Alton Brown is a hoot.

Everything I watch, I watch on DVD. I can't recall the last time I sat down to watch broadcast TV/cable. It's been probably ... let's see, we moved in fall '94, and it was about a year or so before that when I stopped ... so going on four years, maybe, since I had a show I followed in the traditional manner.
I do watch some stuff when I can get a disc (or aquire it by other means), though, preferring to watch an entire season in a week or two, an episode or two a night until I'm done. Over the last couple of months I've been watching:
Avatar: The Last Airbender - I love this show! We watch it as a family. I started a thread here. It's lots of fun! We're watching Season 2 and Season 1 at the same time right now. Enjoyable ongoing epic.
Digging For The Truth - I've watched the first two seasons (haven't seen any of the thurd). Very enjoyable show on archeology and history, with an "adventure" angle that comes across well. Another one the whole family likes.
And, errr, that's it right now. I'm doing maybe two hours a week of TV these days.
I've been gathering Sopranos episodes but will not watch the last batch until they're all wrapped up. So, in three weeks, yes. Marathon time. The wife and I watched the first five seasons all right in a row year before last, and did the same with last year's batch. We'll do the same with the last shows and wrap it all up. Can't wait!
Also, Heroes. I have all the episodes to date in my possession, but won't start watching them until the season is wrapped up. One that last episode airs, we'll watch them all. I look forward to it!
And same with Lost. I have the first two seasons, not yet the third, and will likely watch all three seasons in one long, multi-week marathon. Now that an endgame has been announced (season six will be the last) I feel comfortable watching.
(Mrs. Taft has quite a few regular shows, and since I often write in the same room, I've seen enough of many of them to have impressions. She watches House, Grey's Anatomy, Lost, that show with the two brothers and evil stuff and their dad and stuff, Smallville, One Tree Hill, and fookin' Gilmore Girls.)

Lil' Taft and Mrs. Taft watch these two shows (along with the AWESOME Mythbusters, and Survivor Man, and about three other shows on Discovery, the most watched network in the Taft household), and I'll tell you, Deadliest Catch has distracted me from other work several times. The other day I was doing some stuff at the computer, they were watching, and some guy fell overboard. My work stopped right where it was. I was completely enthralled by the rescue attempt. I've never seen a full episode (though I've listened to the podcasts), but based on what I've seen, awesome show!
