Hope it's all right if I kick off a new installment of this thread.

As I did in 2019, I'm going to track the films I watch both theatrically and at home. All Blu-Rays and DVDs are from my own collection unless otherwise noted.

At the theater:

1) Doctor Sleep *** (2nd viewing overall)
2) Bombshell ***
3) Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker **1/2 (3rd viewing overall)

Home viewing

1) Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith (2005)---Blu-Ray
2) Dracula Untold (2014)---Blu-Ray
3) The Unknown (1927)---Netflix DVD
4) Lon Chaney: A Thousand Faces (2000)---Netflix DVD

Wow this thread died an unnatural death, used to be the place to be, was just checking out the 2015 version when we all loved What We Do In The Shadows. The era of Jimbo vs Fraxon, who would see the most movies??

And I'll do my home viewing as well, at least what I can remember. All DVDs and Blu-rays are from my personal collection unless otherwise indicated.

5) Shin Godzilla (2016)---Blu-ray
6) The Shining (1980)---Blu-ray
7) Doctor Sleep (2019)---Blu-ray
8) Ad Astra (2019)---Blu-ray
9) Knives Out (2019)---Blu-ray
10) Godzilla (1998)---Netflix DVD
11) Godzilla, King of the Monsters (2019)---DVD
12) King Kong Vs. Godzilla (1962)---Blu-ray
13) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990)---Netflix
14) Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves (1991)---Netflix
15) V/H/S: Viral (2014)---Netflix DVD
16) Repulsion (1965)---Netflix DVD
17) Cries and Whispers (1972)---DVD (Criterion)
18) Diabolique (1955)---Blu-ray (Criterion)
19) The Passion of Joan of Arc (1925)---Netflix DVD
20) Scary Movie (2000)---Netflix
21) Halloween (2018)---Blu-ray
22) The Student of Prague (1913)---DVD
23) The Conjuring (2013)---DVD
24) Meet the Parents (2000)---DVD
25) The Virgin Spring (1960)---DVD (Criterion)
26) Sleepy Hollow (1999)---Blu-ray
27) Dominion: Prequel to The Exorcist (2005)---DVD
28) Ready or Not (2019)---Blu-ray
29) The Innkeepers (2011)---Blu-ray

That's all I can remember, although I'm sure I'm forgetting some.

I feel a weird pride in having stuff like Scary Movie and King Kong Vs. Godzilla mixed in with Bergman's Virgin Spring and Cries and Whispers or Dreyer's Joan of Arc.

Cool! The movie year ended well with some pretty good movies like The Invisible Man and The Hunt. Saw Little Women too (that was a surprise to me). We rewatched it On Demand soon after the quarantine on Fandango. Holds up.

Hoping the movies can reopen in a month because I want to see Tenet on the big screen.

Forgot one entry for my home viewing list.

30) Wrinkles the Clown (2019)---Hulu streaming

Not sure how I could have forgotten it, as it's one of the most f***ed up things I've ever watched. And it's a documentary!

Man, I really want to see it as well, but I don't know if I personally will feel comfortable going back to the theater then or not, even for Nolan. Assuming they don't move the release date.

The big test for me is this year's Halloween follow-up. If that ends up missing the October window, would they push it all the way back to October of next year when they already have the Halloween finale slotted for then?

Rick and Morty made a reference to "Don't Look Now" in their season finale. I showed the movie trailer to my nephew so he could understand the joke, and he asked me if this was made during the time period that every director was using cocaine. :)

When Rick is fighting Phoenix Person, he says "Never thought this is how i'd die. We are nowhere near venice and you are not a dwarf in a raincoat."

We watched two goodies in the last few days from last year, Shoplifters (2018) (a Japanese production) which is similar to Parasite. It’s about a family of grifters that live in poverty and try to get by. And American Animals (2018) about a true crime library book theft by 4 young college boys.

So, this past week, I made my first two trips back to the movie theater, one for a new release and one for a Retro screening in honor of the late Chadwick Boseman....

15) Tenet **1/2
16) 42 ***

I will see Tenet again at some point, maybe not on the big screen, but I'm going to admit I was too nervous to be in an enclosed movie theater again to really give the film my full attention. There were about 10 other people there, with plenty of distance between the various groups, but it still was affecting me, and I do want to see it again to give it a fair appraisal. Still, despite being a huge Christopher Nolan fan, 2 1/2 stars was all I thought it was worth.

42 wasn't great, but terrific performances by Boseman and Harrison Ford elevated the formulaic material.

As for home viewing, my choices there continue to be dominated by TV shows over full-length films. Still, although I feel like I'm missing 2 or 3, this is what I can remember watching since my last update. Again, all discs are from my own collection unless otherwise stated...

47) Horse Feathers (1932)---Netflix DVD
48) Batman Begins (2005)---Blu-ray
49) Jaws (1975)---Blu-ray
50) Love Stinks (1999)---Netflix DVD (*)
51) Beavis and Butt-head Do America (1996)---DVD
52) The Call of Cthulhu (2005)---library DVD
53) Candyman (1992)---library DVD
54) Black Panther (2018)---Blu-ray

(*) This one came up at the top in my Netflix DVD queue after at least 8 years spent there, and for the life of me, after watching it, I can't imagine why I ever put it there in the first place. It was awful. Maybe I had another film in mind and mistakenly listed this one instead.

And lastly, completed TV seasons and one special...

Survivor Season 30---CBS All-Access
Survivor Season 31---CBS All-Access
Survivor Season 32---CBS All-Access
Survivor Season 1---CBS All-Access (yes, went back and re-watched the original season)
Survivor Season 33---CBS All-Access
Watchmen Season 1---Blu-ray
Law & Order Season 9---Netflix DVD
The Walking Dead Season 1---Netflix
Unsolved Mysteries Season 1 (the new version)---Netflix
Cobra Kai Season 1---Netflix
Cobra Kai Season 2---Netflix
Beavis and Butt-head: Butt-o-Ween/Beavis and Butt-head Do Christmas---DVD
Futurama Season 1---Hulu
