Okay, this is awesome. The video is long, but it's just showing you the eight billion or so configurations and ways you can view your comics on a Nintendo DS.

Link for the software is here:

Best as I can tell (I'm still reading about it), all you need to do is set up the software and comics on a flash card. From what I see so far, no hacks needed.

Wow. I'll be testing it this weekend.

You know, lame-o that I am, I never got around to trying it out. I really should. Now that my laptop is all wonked out, I've no option for reading digi-comics in bed.

..this weekend. I planned on playing Madden and a few other games. Instead I played Pokemon Pearl all fucking weekend. It's like crack. I was just going to get a few pokemon that my 7 year old missed on the diamond version. She forgets to save. 36 hours played and 55 levels later... I missed the weekend.

Buy Advance Wars mate.. That is if you want your whole LIFE drained in the same manner.

It's the best handheld game I've ever played.

I live in a 2-DS household, and it's about to become a 3-DS household this Christmas. That little thing is a blast and all my kids love it.

I have a 7 year old girl. Your daughter will love Nintendogs and Animal Crossing: Wide World. We're getting Littlest Pet Shop this season (it's like Nintendogs).

Other household favorites with the kiddies are Kirby All Stars, Professor Layton, Mario Kart, and others that will come to me.

I hear good things about all the Lego adventures. We're getting Indiana Jones Lego. Probably Million-Heir. It was addictive to the kids in the store.

So yeah.. 2 DS houshold, with the munchkin trying to get me to decorate my homebase and play dressup with her pokemon. Amazingly... all the items laying about on the ground are one time pickups, but she's like "Go over there and there is a revive.. over here is a TM Roar" It's crazy... she remembers EVERYTHING

I am buying 2, one for each of the kids.

I'm a PSP guy myself, but I suspect that the wife will want a DS once she plays with the kids a bit. She plays thier online games (Webkinz and club penguin) all the time.

We're a one DS household, but we'll be a 2 at some point because I have to have my own. I love that little thing.

Anybody play Pokemon Ranger, particularly this Shadows of Almia that seems to be the current one? I have no loyalty to any form of Pokemon. Just wondering if it's good on its own.

We currently have 2, and I'm sticking with the versions that can still play the Gameboy Advance games. I discussed it with the older 3, and they feel their little sister (10) should have to wait to be a teenager like they did. So she will end up with a Gameboy Advance. : )

My daughter got one for her birthday and I almost immediately made it my own. Been playing Final Fantasy Tactics A2. Love the PS1 and GB Advance games, this one beats 'em both.

Nintendo DS to Become Best-selling Console System of All Time
Demand for the Wii is declining, but as sales for the DS remain steady, the handheld gadget is poised to land on top

Video game giant Nintendo is expecting a dent in profits for the first time in six years. Sales for the maker of the bestselling Wii and Nintendo DS took a plunge and dropped by 23 percent.

Profits fell nearly 10 percent, but it appears that despite the fall, the worst may soon be over for the formidable gaming company, based in Kyoto, Japan.

The Nintendo DS, which has been running a close second behind the PlayStation 2, is expected to pass by the popular console in sales by the end of the year. "The NDS is approaching the PS2 as the best-selling hardware system of all time", says The NPD Group's Anita Frazier.

While competitors Microsoft reported early this year that they sold over 40 million Xbox 360s and current figures had Sony PlayStation 3 with 33.5 million units sold, Wii sales are at about 71 million and the Nintendo DS are at nearly 129 million so far.

Nintendo has plans to launch a 3DS version that will offer 3D technology, sans 3D glasses, by year's end.
