Back to school. (Words we are all praying to hear this fall) Had to check with my kids to make sure I didn’t screw this up. Let’s brush up on our proper use of Similes (using like or as) and Metaphors (the other one). We will also take clever twists of commonly used phrases. Pull out your Figurative writing skills so this list doesn’t crash and burn! Most of all use your imagination. Now, release the hounds! (Late addition: references to fireworks)
