Have to go with Curt Swan, and in a really tough choice, Byrne over Jurgens.

Wayne Boring and Dan Jurgens. Maybe an odd couple of choices but there you are.

Curt Swan. I didn't choose a second Superman artist, although there have been a few excellent ones over the years, because I feel that Swan towers over everybody else.

Picked Swan as I think he's the definitive Superman artist, picked Steve Rude solely based on the fact I love his art.

It may seem that way, but in fact they are stating the last names of various prominent comic-book artists.

While I never read a lot of Superman comics, I had to go with Curt Swan as the first option. And Because I didn't read a lot of Superman, most of the stuff I saw him in was his promotional material, thereby making JLGL my second choice.

This one was really easy. Boring and Swan, both for quality of work, sheer volume of stories drawn, and childhood sentimental attachment. I would add Jack Burnley to the list too. The best of the golden-age Superman artists, and obviously a strong influence on the cool 70s-era Wally Wood version:

Wally Wood drew Superman in the '70s? I do not remember that at all! Where did those appear? I need them.
