Description
Mark Volman (Flo) and Howard Kaylan (Eddie) were the original founding members of The Turtles and, when the band finished, they went on to an extraordinary career. Joining Frank Zappa's Mothers Of Invention, they recorded several albums before branching out as session singers for T. Rex, Blondie, Alice Cooper and many others. These two Columbia albums were recorded in 1975 and 1976. Flo & Eddie reformed The Turtles in the 1980s, embarking on box office-busting tours. Digitally remastered and slipcased.

This 2-fer was previously released on FloEdCo, manufactured & distributed by Manifesto Records, in 2009 (along with a 2-fer of earlier albums The Phlorescent Leech and Eddie and Flo & Eddie). All four albums are fantastic.

flo and eddie do some harmonies on dave mason's "split coconut' and they are sublime.

If only we could get some kind of "rarities" CD of F&E material. Soundtrack songs, B-Sides, the "Gumby" song, The "Dirty Duck" material.

I'd buy that in a New York Minute!
