Bruce is the rare actor where I have watched (and own) virtually his entire filmography. I find him hugely entertaining. The first thing I really enjoyed from him was Evil Dead 2, I had watched the first one when it came out but it was too intense for me at the time. It now seems quaint, but I was a wimp. Anyway, Evil Dead 2 is still my favorite. He reached his first peak of over-acting there.
I am also a fan of his commentaries. They can make even his more lacklustre films watchable. At least more watchable than the actual dialogue.

As far as movies I love, Sky High and Hudsucker Proxy are my favorites on this list.

As far as "peak Bruce Campbell," I'd agree with Jason. I once had the thought that the ultimate Bruce Campbell movie is the second half of Evil Dead 2 and the first half of Army of Darkness.

I would really go for an "All of the above" option on this one...

I've been rewatching Brisco County and Burn Notice on Prime lately as well.

Yes, I almost said my favorite Bruce Campbell is the second half of Evil Dead 2. Adding the first half of Army of Darkness makes a full movie! Good thinking!

After this poll has run its course, we should do one for Best Bruce Campbell TV Show. Those two are great, Jack Of All Trades, Evil Dead Vs. Army of Darkness. Such a brilliant actor!

I've always enjoyed Bruce. He was hilarious in Jack of all Trades and hoot in all the Evil Dead movies.

I suppose Brisco County, Jr. was back when I first really started taking notice of him, but I've seen him most in Burn Notice.

He's always been great.

And I am annoyed that much of my Bruce Campbell library has gone missing.
I must have loaned it someone, but none of the normal suspects says they have them.

Some of the more obscure movies can be expensive to buy on DVD… especially a second time. :-(

I don't really care for horror movies and the Evil Dead ones are especially silly...but I watched them all and the TV series of it just because of Bruce. :) I still picked Bubba Ho-Tep though, because I liked it more.

That sucks. Do you know which ones you need? I have doubles of a few. If I see rare ones cheap at flea markets or yard sales I always grab them.

I thought the silliness was a selling point!

Well yeah, I know that it's SUPPOSED to be silly, in this case. :) I just don't care for the gore thing (whether intentional camp like ED or normal horror).

I'm not much of a gore guy either, but in the case of Raimi/Campbell movies it's so over-the-top I just have to laugh.

I love that Sam Rami invented the rapidly accelerating camera effect which was the greatest thing I took away from Evil Dead 1 and 2. It seemed so cool back then.

Yeah, I still get a charge out if it as it tears through the woods, over hills, across the swamp, zooming towards the cabin door or windows. Or straight into someone..

I still have some hope that they'll turn up, maybe just misplaced into a box or something.
It's the series, Jack of All Trades, plus They Call Me Bruce, Bubba Ho-Tep, Army of Darkness,
and The Hudsucker Proxy.

My wife just sent me this deleted scene from Evil Dead 2.
