Always felt a bit sorry for her;all the things remember Diana Rigg for on "The Avengers" (the judo,the leather suit,etc.) actually originated with her.
But her episodes sat in a vault while her successor's shows aired worldwide,so Emma Peel got the credit due Cathy Gale.Happily,the video releases have reminded us who was the first Avengers asskicker.
Blackman also had something else in common with Rigg---they both starred in two of the best Bond movies.

Only Diana Rigg episodes tend to get released in the States on DVD and Blu Ray.
Quite the shame. I love me some Linda Thorson and I haven't seen enough of Honor Blackman.
