10cc were Sedaka's backing group in the early '70s and had some input into his albums (which were WANderful). It looks like this compilation stops just short of that era.

Are you sure of that? Solitaire is included, and I thought they played on it.

There are two versions of "Solitaire". The first was recorded without 10cc, the other had all of them involved. If this is the 1972 recording (which it says on the inside of the sleeve -- see the packshot now in the first post), then yes, it's Neil Sedaka with 10cc. But every other track mentioned in the description and visible in the packshot pre-dates that.

Didn't know about the earlier version. I love these Gold comps, and just ordered this with many of the others recently posted.

We now have the complete tracklist in the first post, and as suggested by what we saw in the packshot, this collection will be all '50s and '60s tracks except for "Solitaire" at the end.
