CD singles, even import CD singles, appear to be the biggest casualty of the digital revolution. The only Demi Lovato CD single I've ever managed to track down is "Wouldn't Change A Thing" (from "Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam" original soundtrack), released in Germany a decade ago. She's released a handful of digital singles since her most recent album, "Tell Me You Love Me" back in 2017; "I Love Me" came out less than a week ago, and is currently at #29 of the Mainstream Top 40.

Anyway, she's announced the eventual release of a CD single and a 7" single. Even better: she's offering autographed CD's with special alternate cover art, which will only be available until 6PM tomorrow (Eastern). (Sorry, vinyl diehards--you're stuck with just the one cover.)

The only downside--the expected ship date is June 29th, and these autographed editions always seem to take about a month longer than the initial estimate. Still, the most recent CD single I own is Alice Cooper's "The Sound Of A" from 2018; before that, there's Britney's "Pretty Girls" from 2015 (thanks again, Linda), and, before that, "Somewhere" by Jimi Hendrix from 2013. So I'm willing to wait, I guess.
