Buzzcocks require no introduction. Pivotal to the punk and post-punk DIY movements, the group, led by frontman Pete Shelley and co-conspirator Steve Diggle, brought an essential pop sensibility and sartorial style to the late 1970s and early 1980s.

Having disbanded in 1981, the band re-grouped in 1989 and continue to write, record and perform to this day, despite the saddening and untimely loss of Pete Shelley in 2018. This handsome box set captures the eight albums and numerous singles the band produced with Shelley during a twenty three year period, alongside previously unheard rarities, demos and outtakes.

Packed with remarkable music, including excellent re-visits of much of their best loved material on ‘A Different Compilation’, ‘Sell You Everything’ showcases a longevity and a hunger rarely seen in a band now into their forty-second year.

Well Pete Shelley likes Buzzcocks and I like The Buzzcocks, because in the English language when you put “the” in front of something it means the definitive, the one and only, that’s what I think anyway.

This is a must have. All of these albums are excellent with exception of Modern which is good but imo it’s their weakest album. I have all these but will jump on this for all the bonus tracks. Flat Pack Philosophy is one of their best. Even A Different Compilation is good for an album of reworked songs.

This has been available on amazon usa for about a week now. I bought it this past Sunday and received it today. Very nice quality boxset. Sturdy box , nice mini LP cd sleeves , nice booklet. A ton of bonus tracks that I haven’t heard in years or never heard. The sound quality is excellent So far I’ve listened to Flat Pack Philosophy and Trade Test Transmissions. If anyone has been thinking about getting this - GET IT ! I got it at $51 , I think it’s at $70 now from amazon , third party sellers I think were a little under $50
