It’s fine. The band reworked a few of the songs to be more in line with the way they were being performed live at the time. The hits are more or less note-for-note (the re-recording was basically an end run around Sony so that they could make some money from licensing the new versions).

I don't automatically dismiss these kinds of re-recordings across the board, but in this case I'm not impressed. In particular, I think the vocals on many of the tracks do not compare favorably to the originals.
The band plays well, though. I think "Astronomy " is a good litmus test for determining if one would like this album.

I think they should have made the drums more prominent. Just like Gord's Gold Volume II - WHY?
