Description
Chicago rockers’' 1977 and 1990 albums. '‘The Grand Illusion'’ was a US Top Ten album with the song '‘Come Sail Away’' a Top Ten hit. '‘Edge Of The Century’' was the first to feature new member Glen Burtnik, and the last with drummer John Panozzo. The single ‘'Show Me The Way'’ was a US Top 3 hit. Digitally remastered and slipcased, and with new notes.

Two albums that don't go together at all.

I hate two-fers anyway.

This catalogue needs proper treatment and not this.

True, but I take what's given especially in this case when there's been no proper remasters of their more popular catalog.

I still have the original Edge Of The Century disc and that's only because there's one good song on there.... Love At First Sight. It's one of the best ballads ever made. The rest of the album blows.

I don't mind twofers myself, but yeah, this doesn't make sense and proper Styx remasters are probably needed.

BGO should pick a target date and then add 6 months to it for the actual release date. :D

Got this and the sound on Grand Illusion is grand (pun intended). I jammed to the Edge disc today and it still is as crappy as I remembered it being except for Love At First Sight, which is a premium song.
