Bannings: If you're not nice
As of April 1, 2005, the above term has officially succeeded "Quemas" in the Comicland vernacular.

Two men.

One vision.

QuesaDio.

If you make it Queso Dio, then it translates into "Cheese Gave". Which tells me that the root of all evil lies in Wisconsin. Bob Garrett has some 'splaining to do.
----
Edited to add, that should probably translate into "Gave Cheese", which makes it even more diabolical on Bob's part.

True, and let's also not forget that Bob has a special interest in seeing Ted Kord eliminated, since the original Blue Beetle was Dan Garrett. Any relation, Bob? I wonder.

"Dio" is Italian for "god," thus - "Cheese God."

...so obviously, it IS me! :)

The family disowned him after discovering that he was a fictional character!

I mean ....can you imagine the SHAME??

My first thought... Quesada is forming a heavy metal label?

Devilishly clever.

So, just to get the usage straight, can we say DC QuesaDio and Marvel QuesaDio ... like Superman-red and Superman-Blue?

I like the "Bizarro Stupourmen"!

...they stand for the opposite of everything that's good for comics...

But hasent Didio done some good for DC? Are all his good decisions tainted by his recent ones??

3 Byrne titles for you old school fans? Briging back Hal Jordan? Batman Chronicles? Geoff Johns on an exclusive contract? Busiek on JLA? JLA/Avengers?

When do good EIC's go bad???

John, I'm just having some fun! :-)

Actually, Didio has done some good things as you mention. But... are we seeing a Marvelization of DC or a Quesdaization of Didio? Lately, feels like the latter.

It could be argued that lately Quesada has been doing good things at Marvel too... but I attribute that to Dan Buckley.

Same here Rob...im just teasing...I find both have done stupid things (too many bat titles, X titles, etc) but some good as well.

Oddly enough I hear Didio is very similar to Joe Q personality wise (rude jokes, etc)...

For the record I think he is trying to emulate some Marvel style/books..which is a dumb idea in my opinion.

This thread reminds me of the Rage against the machine video where they melded images of Gore and Bush during the 2000 election..:)

Heh. Works for me.

Quote:
John Byrne: I'd like to do a new Doom Patrol based on the originals.

DiDio: Welllllllll *harumph harumph* I don't know about that, Byrne ... *harumph* I can't just sign off on anything here ...

DiDio: Wait, wait, I know what well do. Let's reboot the book with a four-armed gorilla, a bimbette in fishnets, and a blue faced alien. Yeah!!! Wait'll old Joe Cheese-butt gets a load of that!

These big DC crossovers have a history of being all sizzle and no steak. But at least they were harmless. (I miss that.)

Didn't read the last one. Not reading the new one.

There are good books out there. You just have to hunt for them.

Oh, why not?

Then, Jason Todd can be the next Blue Beetle, and Jim Corrigan can be the next Dr. Fate!
