ever since 'the healing game' i, and its probably just me, hear the same song structure and vocal inflection and guitar chords in every single song.

None of the new albums Van Morrison has released in recent years sounded like he was cranking them out just for the money.

there is now an expanded edition of 'three chords and the truth" up on spotify, with re-done versions of 4 of the songs form the album.

i don't think it can be bought, at least i haven't found it anywhere, might be a spotify only thing.....linda will know.

The Expanded Edition is (so far) a digital-only release. Collectors who just want the bonus tracks can purchase them individually:

I'm listening to the extra tracks right now on Amazon Music. They're all alternate mixes of songs from the CD. The mixes don't sound very different from the album versions to my ears, but Van completists might want them.

This has got to be a new world record-- this album was just released on October 25 and less than 6 weeks later an "expanded edition" is released??
