Crimson Productions presents Bay City Rollers 'Gold', the only Bay City Rollers compilation you'll ever need. The 'tartan terrors' inspired hysteria amongst their fans wherever they played, selling an estimated 120 million records worldwide. Bump: Added the tracklist to the first post.

This covers the Les McKeown years very well, but there's nothing from their time as a "serious" power pop group with Duncan Faure as leader -- which is just as well, since the latter era merits its own separate compilation. Maybe we'll get one from Crimson in the future.

I doubt it. I think we're lucky we got those 7T's remasters from last decade.

Even so, unless there's an unreleased track or b-side I'm unaware of, I'd probably pass on it.

I worked on Smiff a little bit tonight as we hung out as his new pad. I'm trying to convince him to buy his first ever Rollers CDs.

I even promised I'd never borrow them as I wouldn't need to.

We'll see if he cracks and breaks down and buys them.
