Description
For the first time ever, all the recordings of Todd Rundgren's late '60s psych rock band Nazz are collected together in one far out 3CD box set! Includes all 3 commercially released studio albums plus tons of bonus material! Packaged in a high quality clam shell box with individual replication sleeves for the CDs and two sets of liner notes detailing the history of the band with images and words!

Purple Pyramid is a subsidiary of Cleopatra, which is the company that Todd Rundgren has released his recent material through. So WAN can only hope that Todd has provided them with the best-sounding versions of these recordings, and that The Complete Nazz will be definitive. We'll see.

Hoping the sound on this is good. The Nazz stuff I have mostly sounds pretty lousy.

no you are not, and i have all the original rhino's which, by the way, sound just fine.

But for those of us who don't have the Rhino CDs, they are out of print and going for $20- $50 a piece on the collector's market. So the box is a better buy, if a tad over-priced.

i agree.

it's amazing we talk about the old rhino CD's in that it made realize what a great job rhino did back in the day with comps for 60's bands.

i remember when those rhino comps could be found used just about in every store you went in.

i only wish i would i have bought them all.

now, what would be the fair and just thing to do would be to put out a separate CD of just the bonus material for those of us who have the original CD's.

but of course that will only happen when monkey's fly out of my ass.
