Four Jerry Lee albums, originally recorded for Smash Records and dating from 1964 and '67. '"Live" At The Star Club' has always been regarded as one of the best and most iconic live albums of all time, with Jerry Lee on fine form backed by the underrated and underappreciated Nashville Teens. After the Hamburg album, two more live albums were recorded: 'The Greatest' was done at Birmingham, Alabama whilst 'By Request' was recorded at Fort Worth, the material nearly all rock'n'roll favourites with one or two country stalwarts as well. 'The Golden Hits Of Jerry Lee Lewis' comprises re-recordings of the Sun hits. Digitally remastered and slipcased, and with extensive new notes.
