I would've been about 11 when the books in this volume started coming out. I have vivid memories of a lot of them, especially the ones my grandmother bought me.

It really sucks that the previous volumes aren't kept in print.

Hard to make a profit on keeping a line of books like Masterworks forever in print.

But I imagine with Marvel's Epic, Complete, MWs, Omnibus, and online formats, you should be able to do
pretty good in getting Spidey stories.

I don't buy many Masterworks, but I do get a few of them (the Daredevil books, for example, and the Atlas
Era books when Marvel was printing them), but I have been getting the Spider-Man Omnibus volumes
when they are released. The 4th volume will be out soon; the 3rd volume got me to where I began buying
the comics new off the shelf, but I will keep buying additional volumes as they come out.

You don't have an extra copy of Volume 8 by any chance, do you?

I'm surprised #8 is going for so much. Most of the other DD volumes are relatively cheap.

I didn't see any DD #8s being traded/sold on the Marvel Masterworks Board. Sorry, Doot.

I remember that issue. Back when you could have more modern covers without word balloons, but still have them
be scene/story specific and memorable.
