I didn't get this the first time around. I won't make that mistake again. Thank you Linda.

Amazon altered me today that they will not be getting this CD, at least for now. The listing is still up and I was able to sign up for an alert when it's again available.

It will definitely return, at the same link that's in the first post.

Not to throw this thread a curveball, but this...artist's name tends to drive me nuts. According to Discogs.com, they are also known as "Butterfield Blues Band", "Paul Butterfield Band", "Paul Butterfield Blues Band", "Paul Butterfield's Blues Band", "The Butterfield Blues Band", and "The Paul Butterfield Band". Complicating matters is that the band released at least one album titled "The Paul Butterfield Blues Band", yet their follow-up album, "East-West", was credited to "The Butterfield Blues Band", and at least one reissue of the "The Paul Butterfield Blues Band" album credited it to "The Butterfield Blues Band", and the 2014 Michael Bloomfield boxed set credited songs from "East-West" to "The Paul Butterfield Blues Band". In addition, Wikipedia directs all Butterfield Blues Band/Paul Butterfield Blues Band inquiries to its page for Paul Butterfield. The Criterion Collection "Complete Monterey Pop" DVD calls them "The Paul Butterfield Blues Band", while the Rhino "Monterey Pop" box calls them "The Butterfield Blues Band". The original Woodstock album credited them as "The Butterfield Blues Band".
Maybe this question should be for Linda: Should music by this artist be filed under "B" or "P"?

It should be filed under "B". For artists like Paul Butterfield and John Mayall -- where there have been a number of different bands with them in the name, as well as solo releases -- just shelve all the CDs together in chronological order under the leader's surname.

That's what I do Linda.
I have a database in which I catalog all of my music. He's in there, no matter what the artist title on each album, as "Butterfield, Paul".

I agree with these responses (although I organize by genre and subgenre rather than alphabetically with my CDs. I would say that one thing I actually do appreciate about iTunes is the ability when ripping a CD to have both an Artist and an “Album Artist” so that I can keep both the accurate name used for that album as the artist while also keeping the albums together by album artist. For example, all of my Mellencamp album are under John Cougar Mellencamp as album artist but have the then-current appellation as the artist. Same with McCartney vs. Wings, etc.

So neither Butterfield nor his fans ever had a particular preference as which style was "correct"? Such as "Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus"--Brothers is always abbreviated, the first "and" is always spelled out, and the second "and" is always an ampersand. Or "Guns N' Roses" (apostrophe after the always capitalized N, never before it), "Mike + The Mechanics", "Run-DMC", "4 Non Blondes" and "Panic! At The Disco", and so on...
