Rocked & roaded, thanks Linda! (I didn't get the previous boxes because they were splitting albums across different CDs, no likey, this rectifies that!) . . . .

Adding the "Live" album would've completed his entire Chrysalis run. Curious they didn't add that and only focused on studio. Coupla B sides missing as well. Easily one of the greatest album runs by any guitarist ever. Saw him at the Tower Theater in 1980 on the "Victims of the Fury" tour, and still to this day one of the best shows I've ever seen.

This is just rehash.
They already did this a few years ago with two separate box sets, plus rare tracks covering these exact same albums.
This is just a reissue though you do get the individual sleeves here, but no live album and no rare cuts.
But you can get all this music, plus the rare cuts (not a lot, but there are some) with these collections.
I have both boxes as well as the 2 CD live rarities box.
All of these were from Chrysalis/EMI.
I believe they were called A Tale Untold: 1973-1976 and Farther On Up The Road: 1977-1983. And the live set was called State to State: Live Across America 1974-1980.
No need to get this at all.
However, those boxes may be out of print, in which case you would get this set, but without the live album and bonus cuts.
I'm good.

I'm good. Great points, the early sets are OOP and albums are spread across different discs but they were cheap at the time of release and are good enough for this Canuck.

I could sell those, make a nice profit and get this but lose the rare cuts and live album. I could just burn those and get this set. Might do it depending on what the OOP items go for.

They have sold as new for up to $60 - $80 Canadian, used obviously won't get anything close to that.
