Irish is easier to understand, so I'm going with that.

This is my other favorite Scotch.
Port Ellen on the island of Islay. Closed since 1984, I have 3 precious beautiful bottles. Including one unopened!
Never to be made again. Another 5* malt. If anyone imagines themselves a scotch afficianado come over for poker night, and you will have a real treat instore!!

Scots defola.
It always makes the speaker sound sexy and intelligent even if its Rab C. Nesbitt.
Irish accents either remind me either of Ian Paisley or nauseating Oirish blarney merchants as depicted in Hollywood fillums.
Sorry Irish people, I come from Birmingham (the most reviled acccent in the UK) so I'm feeling your pain here.

Irish accents are cool. THe Lucky Charms guy has one.

I've tried Loch Dhu, the Black Whiskey a long time ago. We can't seem to get it here anymore.

It's clear from this thread that I was right, you can't understand these Scottish people.
