Wow, pretty surprising that Legacy/Sony are releasing these on CD! I had given up hope.

Each of these three albums hit the top 3 on the Billboard 200. I'm guessing most fans that already want these CDs probably already own these CDs. Would much rather see Sony release albums like The Chocolate Invasion and The Slaughterhouse on CD, since there have never been official issues of those albums on CD. But at least now I can go back to thinking that Sony might actually put these albums out on a format other than a digital download.

It may be just me, but I found these to be weak albums. I wanted to like Musicology, but never really succeeded; & I never enjoyed the other 2.

I like all three of these, although Musicology has some real crap on it.

Planet Earth is my favorite of the three and has some scorching guitar at times.

Any bonus cuts and I'm in, otherwise I'll skip it.

None of these albums are great, but 3121 is a pretty solid album.

I'm not a fan of Musicology at all. I'd have it in the bottom 5 of Prince albums.
