One of my personal rules is to never read any book with a photograph of the author on the cover, but as I did for Pete's autobiography, I'll make an exception for Roger.
(Poor Roger--what kind of publicist neglects to describe him as "iconic"?)

Bump: Added the cover image to the first post. The book will be entitled Thanks A Lot Mr Kibblewhite, a reference to the headmaster at Daltrey's school.
Thanks Alan but I was hoping for physical media. I am so old school.
Ah... Didn't think of that. And I'd want it on physical media, too, I think, if I were going to get it. (Although if I got it for free, I wouldn't complain. Probably.)

It's an unusual photo they've used for the cover. I don't much like it. Perhaps you have to read the book to understand the context or significance of it?
There are so many images of a young Roger Daltrey they could've used. The title is intriguing, and I can only assume there's some reason that image was chosen; it's really odd.

I was in my local B&N this evening, and they had the hardback discounted at 50% off. Fortunately, Self-Santa happened to be standing nearby, and after some quick consultation, he discovered that with my B&N member discount, I had been *just good enough* this year to warrant an early Christmas present.

Wait...you mean I didn’t have to knock myself out trying to be nice all year? I could have given in to my baser instincts, and just been a real @sshole to everyone I know?

Mental note: File under resolutions for 2019.
Well, it's worked for me...
Just about to start this book - picked it up at 40% off when it was released. So not quite as good a deal...
