Description
Longbranch/Pennywhistle is the legendary 1969 collaboration between late Eagles co-founder Glenn Frey and his longstanding songwriting partner, JD Souther. Previously available as a part of Glenn Frey’s Above The Clouds: The Collection box set, this long out of print album and blueprint of the California Sound is now available as a standalone CD.

could this mean that 'shiloh' could be on the horizon.........i always blamed amos records for this not coming out, but now........................

It's too bad it doesn't contain that song I Can't Believe It, from Vanishing Point, as a bonus track.

it wasn't even on the original soundtrack album.

i don;t think there is a complete version of it to found anywhere, which is hard to believe in this day and age.

there is a minute and a half snippet out there, but there is dialogue from the movie over the song.

i doubt we ever get it.

Yeah. Some mixed version existed somewhere at some point. I'm sure it's lost forever though.

got it today from amazon. (excellent packaging by the way, i think they got the message)

however, it is one of those ridiculous oversized digipaks....WHY???

i will overlook the oversize because everything else about this is just excellent.
