Other than having a couple of these songs on various artists comps, I don't have any Bobby Fuller. Seeing as this is produced by Andrew Sandoval, this should be a great introduction.

With Andrew Sandoval at the helm you just know this is going to be stellar. The Bobby Fuller Four are easiest one of the most underrated bands of the 60's.

I sure would like to know which of the cuts on this CD are "different mixes" and "different performances." Sort of conflicts with "their original mono single versions."

I am sure Andrew will let us know David. He's good about that!

I read that as the singles featuring different mixes and performances than what people would've heard when compared to the album versions which were used on earlier comps.

Glad to see others excited about this. Even people who listen to a lot of '60s rock only know I Fought The Law. Of course, that song's a classic, but isn't even close to his best work. The sophistication of songwriting, the production technique, the melodic basslines, the layers of intricate guitar work...When I first heard some of these songs, I wondered how these could be from the early to mid-60s, and not a later pastiche, a la That Thing You Do.
