Ignition Records are proud to announce the release of ‘Joe Strummer 001,’ the first compilation to span Joe Strummer’s career outside of his recordings with The Clash. ‘Joe Strummer 001’ includes fan favourites from his recordings with the 101ers and The Mescaleros, all of his solo albums, soundtrack work and an album of unreleased songs.

Super Deluxe Edition box set includes 2CDs, hardback book, 3 vinyl albums, 12" single of "U.S. North," two 7" singles of "This Is England" and "Before We Go Forward," a cassette of "U.S. North" - Basement Demo, 2 bonus lyric sheets, A4 sticker sheet, a reproduction of Joe's California Driver's License and an enamel pin badge.

2CD album featuring restored and remastered audio by Grammy award winning Peter J Moore. The Deluxe Edition is stored within a 64-page A4 book including rarely seen and previously unpublished memorabilia from Joe’s personal collection - plus historical press reviews and technical notes about the albums. The Standard Edition is packaged in a jewel case with card slipcase and 12-page booklet. The cover of all formats is taken from Joe’s original 1990 Californian driving license. Hardback book within a cardboard slipcase, sealed on one side.

Ignition is now saying that the Super Deluxe Edition Box Set is an "extremely limited edition of only 200 copies". They weren't clear on whether it will be 200 copies available worldwide, or 200 copies for the American market. Amazon USA appears to have already sold out (the listing page has gone dormant), but the Super Deluxe set can still be pre-ordered from Canada and the UK, so collectors should grab one from there before the box sets are all gone:
