Boy, the cover copy on that looks horrible -- I thought it was an amateur Photoshop job at first.

No one's mentioned The Six Million Dollar Man yet, so I felt obliged to do so. Nor the Planet of The Apes TV series, nor all the other great variety shows on TV, nor the early days of videogaming, nor the awesome comics...the list of good things is extensive.
The only thing about the 70's which is questionable is that pervasive orange/brown colour combo. Personally, I blame the worlds of fashion and interior design for that situation. Even that is a matter of taste, I suppose...overall, the 70's were full of greatness.

We used to wear these devices called “ mood rings” and spend several minutes getting angry, so the colour would change. Also, we would roller skate very quickly when the songs “knock on wood” or “ Surfin’ Bird” blared over the loudspeaker

The 70's were very hard on me. I felt almost three times as old at the end of that decade as I did at the beginning.

I discovered acting, comics, and the Beatles in the 70's. Feels like I never left.
