I just got this yesterday at Wamart and so far have only listened to it once but am already in love with it. I'm probably one of the few people on the planet who has never seen The Bodyguard movie but fondly remembers seeing the music videos for I Will Always Love You, I Wanna Run To You, and I Have Nothing back in the day on MTV ad nauseum, and I've always thought they were absolutely fantastic that way, but now hearing them in different versions I'm loving them even more all over again. I for one had no idea Whitney actually sang Jesus Loves Me in the movie, so the versions of that song more than anything was my biggest surprise on the cd, but all the other songs are quite lovely as well. I could maybe do without Queen of the Night altogether, but that's a small nitpick in an otherwise fabulous collection of songs.

I'm still waiting for a comprehensive greatest hits collection for Whitney. I don't think one was ever issued that doesn't include remixes.

I don't know if you could call it comprehensive but there was a CD released in 2012 with 18 cuts, I believe none of the hits were remixes, which is probably why I bought it. I Will Always Love You: The Best of Whitney Houston. Still available on AmazWAN for $7.99. Perhaps Linda can provide a link.
