Description
This set supported by the band is the first to bring all the Casablanca albums together in one set complete with a disc of rare edits and alternate versions. Angel expert Dave Reynolds has supplied a new set of sleeve notes giving a great insight into the history of the band in a 28-booklet loaded with rare photos and memorabilia.

This is good news. On Earth As It Is in Heaven is a favorite, I bought it as a Japanese import CD many years ago, and settled on An Anthology for the rest.

Weren't there at least a handful of odds and ends that would make nice bonuses? Even without that, the price seems relatively reasonable for this set.

Just saw Frank DiMino and Punky Meadows at The Whiskey a couple weeks ago, and it was incredible. Frank's voice is holding up remarkably well.
But unless there are bonus tracks, I may have pass. I have all these (assuming it's the five studio albums and double live set)

Back in '75 there was a strong possibility of the band that I was in was to open and travel with Angel as a opening act for a short NY State / Canadian set of gigs.
It fell through but we all got to meet the band at one of their shows. Really nice guys, being the keyboard player in the band I must admit though I was very intimidated by Gregg Giuffria, not because of his personality or anything, just his keyboard prowess.
Man, can that guy play.

With that said, I am very excited to get this set. By the way the Frank DiMino solo album recently releases is a really good record. The guy still has it.

I’m looking forward to seeing them next month right here on Long Island. Can’t believe I get to see a version of Angel in my backyard. And this version is damn good!

Yeah, I did some homework on Frank and he was/is a vocal coach for other singers so he walks the talk or in this case the singing. :ohyes:
