Link for The Undertones is misleading. The song selection is The Undertones, but it comes up as The Beat - Hard to Beat

It looks like that's an Amazon problem, not a Linda problem, something we should have suspected because Linda is perfect.

The Peter Green is a nice collection. It has a lot of his best post-FM stuff, with a few FM tracks mixed in, including the great "...Manalishi".
Odd, though, that they included "Stranger Blues", which was a Spencer number. It is, however, one of the few tracks that has Green, Spencer, and Kirwan on guitars.

The line "hard to beat" is in the lyrics of The Undertones' "Teenage Kicks", so that likely is the correct title of the compilation. In which case, one of Amazon's data entry gnomes got confused and thought it referred to the group The Beat.

We'll know for sure once the cover artwork is revealed!

The Undertones hit ‘Teenage Kicks’ can be heard in the recent film Action Point.

BMG sent us the cover for the Hard To Beat 2CD set. The image isn't up at Amazon yet, but as you can see this will indeed be an Undertones compilation:

Lee "Scratch" Perry has just been added to the selection. Also, if you click through the link in the first post for the Undertones comp, you'll see that Amazon has just posted the cover image on their listing page.

Now a Sweet compilation has been added as well, and I've updated the first post accordingly.

All of these are still scheduled to be released in the UK on Friday (July 27th), but some of the USA listings have been pushed back into August or are not pre-orderable yet at all. Ordering direct from Amazon UK is probably the best way to go for these compilations right now, since they're all budget-priced there.

The Peter Green and Emerson, Lake & Palmer ones look interesting.
