I do believe that finally, the first two albums are remastered in this box.
The only albums I ever liked were On Through The Night and High N' Dry, and the UFO and Thin Lizzy influence is obvious and definitely a big factor for me.
Pyromania was pretty damn good but the signs of the band losing their sound were there.
After that, I loathe everything they did.

This will be available on CD and vinyl. Contents include: On Through The Night, High 'n' Dry, Pyromania, Hysteria, Live At The L.A. Forum 1983, Rarities - Volume One, and The Def Leppard E.P.
Not sure at this point if the EP is exclusive to the vinyl edition or will be combined with the Rarities disc on a single CD.

"Me And My Wine" and "Bringin' on the Heartbreak" remixes are 'rarities?' Weren't they literally on every single copy of High 'N Dry when it was re-released?

Both songs were added to the re-issued LP in 1984 and later to the first pressings of the CD.
However, both songs were quietly removed from the CD in the early 90s, so they are indeed rare.

I had to purchase the High N Dry version from Japan to get those two songs.

Yeah, I have the Japanese SHM re-master with the bonus tracks as well. Excellent sound on this baby!

From what I've read, the EP will be on a 3" CD.
I’ve read the same. I still have some of my 3” CD singles from the late 80s. Hope it comes with the adapter needed to place it in the tray. Fortunately I still have mine, if needed.

This looks like an awesome collection. I'm definitely in on this one. Disappointed in the 3" CD news which is just silly at this point. I think I only have two adapters left, and quite frankly always felt they were a real pain in the ass to deal with. I do find it odd that they are putting Good Morning Freedom on this and leaving off some of those other early songs like Heat Street and Glad I'm Alive.
And hopefully Joe Elliott has some hearing left so we won't get crappy brickwalled mastering.

We now have a full packshot in the opening post along with a more complete description. In addition, I've moved the information that David Baker brought us about CD6 and CD7 to the tracklist.
And we also have a new lyric video for "Photograph":

Is this box really $75?
They are nuts.
Almost all of it is available already and the little EP is stupid.
I just want the first two albums remastered, so I guess my wait continues.
Yeah, I had to rethink getting this. I have all the DL remasters and even bought the last Hysteria (even though I have the previous remaster) to get the live show. It was because of that that I decided not to get this.
I'll wait for the individual remasters of On Thru and High. If they don't ever come, I have Rock of Ages: The Definitive Collection, which has 6 songs from High on it. Sadly, that set has only two from On Thru. Rock Brigade is on there, which is one of the best songs DL ever made. In fact, that's the song I heard on Minneapolis radio back in the day that made me buy their first album.

"Rock Brigade" was my introduction to the band and why I bought that album as a wee lad.
The UFO and Thin Lizzy influence adds to the excellence of these guys when they were a legit Hard Rock band.
Those first two albums were magic.
