This just arrived yesterday, can't wait to spin these this weekend. I have the Garfunkel Quad SACD and the Deodato which are stellar so I have high expectations for these as well. So glad there is one label out there still doing Quad SACD since Audio Fidelity has been very quiet of late.

Holy Surround Batman! I've never heard of this label before. I just ordered 11 titles. It's a sickness!

I received 10 titles today, after getting 4 about a month ago. It's so cool someone is doing quad releases.

I'm playing their Deodato. Not my favorite album, but the sound seems quite good. The 2 in Rick's op are now officially on my radar. Most of what I saw on their website was easy listening which I mostly avoid.

Now listening to Carlos Santana & Alice Coltrane - Illuminations SACD

Another of the Vocalion SACD's I didn't realize I had.

Based on these 2 SACD's (a small sample, & neither is rock) I'd rank them just below APO sound quality wise. Very impressive, & that's just the stereo layer; I'm not set up for quad.

I'm looking forward to hearing the Derringer & Guess Who; though I would have preferred a greatest hits collection from both artists. There's only 4-5 songs on each of those titles that I particularly like. I have owned 3 of the 4 albums (both Guess Who's & the All American Derringer) in the past.

From what I've read, sound quality is top-notch.

And from what I had heard last night, that assessment is spot-on.
