Recorded entirely by Shelton over the bulk of 2017, "A View From Above" further amplifies the crucial elements that have brought the Well Wishers to the top of the power pop heap: hook-filled melodies, soaring vocal harmonies, big crunchy guitars and bold, layered arrangments that highlight a honed and skilled pop songcraft.

Melodic POWER POP is front and center on "A View From Above", but Shelton broadens the musical palette even further from clean strummy acoustic textures on tracks like "Arrogance Is Gone" and "Ways and Means" to the full on crunch-rock assault on album closer "Is It Me? Is It You?" Former Headslide bandmate Pete Bohan offers the crowning touch with a ripping & squealing guitar solo on single "Never Let You Down".
