I saw them on the Monster of Rock tour in 1988 and they were killer!
That's where I saw them (the Dallas show) and it made me go out and buy their albums. Metallica was on that tour also and their set at the MoR was also a go-getter for me. By Xmas, I owned all of Metallica's stuff.

Yeah, I'm slightly intrigued by this release. If nothing else, to see Lynch play. The man is a god on guitar. The last Dokken album he did was Lynch at his best, imo.

That couldn't have been Shadowlife right?
That album was abominable with almost no guitar solos and Lynch admitted to sabotaging that album.
Maybe you meant Dysfunctional?

No, I meant the real last Dokken album, Back for the Attack. It's seriously a damn shame that Back for the Attack never got no more than it did.

That was a great album and their only true Metal album.
That was Lynch's baby and it was a big hit going Top 20 Platinum, but by that point he and Don despised one another.
It's a bit long, but a really good album.
I'll think about this new one and someday maybe I'd get the Rock Candy remasters, but Dokken and that kind of music are just not much on my radar.
