Never heard her before. The first song I found on YouTube, Mad Mad Me, was a wonderful introduction. Appeals to the Laura Nyro/Kate Bush fan in me.

Fell in love with the first two Karla Bonoff albums about two years ago, and love Andrew Gold. Will definitely check out Bryndle. Thanks

bryndle had 2 albums, the first s/t, used to be pretty easy to find. the second 'house of silence' was a tough get back in the day, don't know about now, i never did find it, someone gave me a CDR of it and that is also lost

She's kind of a folkier, west coast Laura Nyro. Great songwriter.

This is exciting, as the CCM cd's sound like poop. And the best of download on Wendy's site sounds even worse. Hopefully they'll also do Main Refrain (her best), Strange Company & Which Way To Main Street.

They had room, too bad they didn't add Main Refrain to CD2.

For those who don't own these yet, I learned today that WW is no longer selling lossless downloads; & she has a history of selling burned cdr's without disclosure, so this may be a very important release. Her catalog is currently available as cd or cdr (not sure which) on her website at $17.50 per album, or as mp3's on itunes & CD Baby. I bought the Back By Fall 2 cd equivalent as a lossless download a couple years ago for $15.

sold solo albums and chunky, novi & ernie albums on her website for $10, but they were CR's and you did not know that until you got them.

I also bought them from her site not knowing they were cdrs (no credits and a photocopied cover)...I'm going to dump them when the bgo versions come out

chunky, novi & ernie - interesting band - FZ lends his voice to one of the cuts on one of their lps. Novi played with FZ (is on one of the ZFT released cds) chunky sang on some releases from Burnt Weeny Sandwich thru Apostrophe(')

chunky, novi & earnie were very good, and very different.

and lauren wood's solo albums are also quite good.

a couple of those little hidden gems that slipped through the cracks.

This motivated me to burn the Back By Fall DL Comp I bought to cd for the car.

I replaced a number of tracks for the 2 cd comp; both for reasons of sound quality & to make it my favs.

I was surprised: If someone asked me which WW album is my fav, I'd answer Main Refrain without thinking. I was surprised to discover my personal 2 cd best of includes my favs from the 1st 4 + 1 song from Strange Company on cd #1.

While other then 2 songs from Letters Home, cd #2 was filled up by only 2 albums: Strange Company & Which Way To Main Street. Makes me think....!

Also a great WW story: When I was a college dj, on my 18th birthday I had a choice to be backstage (for free) at either a Ted Nugent show, or a Waldman/Steve Goodman show (I don't remember who opened for who). I chose WW; I was a huge fan (In fact when I interviewed her a couple years later, I had such a crush on her I was basically tongue tied ). Even though she had been working all night doing her show, backstage she spent pretty much all of her time making sure that all of us freeloaders had full beers for an hour or 2. While today, I might be concerned about that behavior, at the time it felt like an amazing b-day present; one of my heroes (& a very cute one) making sure my beer was never empty!
